Jan 08, 2013 · There is no 16 Bit Application support in 64 Bit at all. So if you have Windows 64 Bit you dont have support for 16 Bit. It is a limit of the architecture just like the limitation of 32 Bit only being able to use 3.2GB of RAM.

I think it works like this Windows Vista 64-bit will not have any support for 16-bit applications. Windows Vista 32-bit will have support. Is that more of a limitation in hardware or something that rests solely with the Vista operating system?

Oct 06, 2014 · Does 16 bit work yet on a 64 bit windows 10 OS? I did an reinstall of windows 10 but choose 32 bit image instead of windows 10 64 bit. I found out my 16 bit program works, once a windows feature is enabled. I did have a driver issue but fixed by a windows update.
