- Support did their thing, we ran speed tests, etc. They said everything looks fine on their end so they sent a tech to replace the modem. - Modem is now replaced, but issue continued. - Called support again, this time speed test results were very low, so they decided to replace it again with a brand new never before used modem. - Issue persists.

Mar 28, 2008 · Called the seller's tech support, and they said it was out of warranty, and that the antennas had probably gone bad! VERY FRUSTRATING!!! But, if all you need is a wireless modem, and have no plans to use this as a router, then you should be fine. I can still use the 2wire when connected via ethernet, just a hassle.3/5(35)

Apr 16, 2007 · Also (some? many? all?) broadband ISPs require the modem to be registered. If that is the case with your ISP then everytime you unplug one modem (or modem/router) and plug in the other one you will need to register it. That may require a phone call to tech support or there may be a web site where you can do it.
