DSMx support was added in V4.0. V5.0 is by far the better (and best) version. To bind v4.0/V5.0 as DSMx, you do need to press the little button on top of the 3GX unit WHILE you apply power to the unit.

Binding in DSMx mode: DSMx is a snap with the 3GX and satellites as long as your TX and satellites support DSMx, and ONLY if you are programmed with 3GX V4.0 or V5.0 software. If you are using any software prior to V4.0, the unit won't support DSMx.
