Jul 13, 2009 · In most Tier or line systems of tech support Tier 3 is often the highest. for example i used to work for tech support for an isp, I was a Tier 1 agent, any problems that Tier 1 couldn't sort (about 70%) went to tier 2 technical support, if they couldn't sort it remotely they would send an engineer round, if the engineer couldn't fix it, tier 2 sent it to Tier 3, and tier 3 got it sorted.
