Nov 24, 2010 · So instead I have two <a4j:support> tags with rendered conditionals to make sure the correct one is used in the view. I've ensured the rendered="" value between the two are always mutually exclusive. But only the first <a4j:support> is ever recognized by Seam (the second isn't added to the component tree even if the rendered attribute is true).

Oct 08, 2007 · Hi, I have an oncklick, oncomplete and status attribute in an a4j:support element which does not work as expected. What l try to do is to show a sandglass while a4j does it's work, but there is no sandglass. The a4j:support element resides in a h:selectOneMenu element, which resides in a a4j:region element. a4j:status is also not repainted.

Jun 03, 2010 · We can’t use a4j:support because it can only be attached to another JSF component. One option is to write a custom JavaScript function that would fire an Ajax request, include any parameters from the page and of course participate in JSF life cycle.
