I've been looking for cpu upgrade info for this old machine im trying to refurbish and use with linux. I haven't been able to fin reliable information in regards to what cpu I can upgrade too from original amd athlon 7450 2.4 ghz dual core. According to cpu g, my MB model is an Acer WMCP78M and BIOS version is R01-B3 but not sure if its correct.

Dec 20, 2012 · According to 'CPU-Z' my motherboard is "Acer - WMCP78M" however when reasearching i couldnt find much information about it, so i opened my case up, on the motherboard it says "acer da061/078l-am3". Many Thanks, Joe
