Jan 08, 2004 · Hi Krishna, You don't mention what platform you are running on, but I will presume it is a Windows platform. In the Windows architecture, the printer driver is the one that sets the default paper size/tray. Applications like Reports can override the default printer tray selection if they wish, but this is generally considered to be a bad practice, so Reports doesn't do this.

Mar 20, 2018 · It's not a problem with setting defaults on the printers - the printer DOES have it defaulted to A4 and all other programs 'obey' this. The only paper I have (not being in USA) is A4. Despite the default, it's Firefox that insists on printing Letter (unless you remember to change it every time!)
