Officially, Google does not support ad hoc networks in ICS apparently. Hello, I have been using an AD-HOC network on my vista laptop to have internet access on my iDevices (iphone and iPad). It works fine when I first set it up but when I log-off and then log-on again, the ICS is disabled for the Ad-Hoc network.

I am unable to connect to internet on my laptop via ad hoc. On my PC I have a static IP, on the wired connection I have turned on ICS to be shared to my wireless card.
