Dec 27, 2013 · I am running windows 8.1 . I don't have the $ to buy 8.1 pro at this time. I have been looking to add DVD player to my laptop . I have been researching this for awhile now and have found that there are a couple ways to do this. One is to download VLC player . I upgraded my sisters laptop from 8 to 8.1 and downloaded the VLC player on her laptop.
