Jan 24, 2018 · Per my discussion with a Tech support on Feb 19, 2018, I am told that Adobe is aware of this issue, i.e. there is no audio when a file that is in AVCHD or MTS format is imported to Premier Elements 2018. I am also told that Adobe is in the process of finding a solution for this known issue.

Nov 04, 2008 · I have a SONY HDR SR 11 which records in AVCHD format. I imported video to my computer's hard drive using Sony's Picture Motion Browser. Of course the files are M2Ts files. I have ADOBE Premier Elements 7 and I'd like to edit the SONY videos using PRE7. If I understand correctly, PRE7 doesn't support the SONY M2ts files.
