Use offset voltage and speedstep will lower your voltage at idle etc. for 4.6 you can definitely leave all the cool stuff on. Benching on LN2 ok...,maybe turn it off

Jan 13, 2015 · Haswell & iRST can control C3, C6, C7 through TinyLake feature (Dynamic storage accelerator) + windows power plan, older cpus cant so its best they are off or it can have sporadic Cstate jumps and cause instability by quick high-load, also affects SSD raw speeds. Like others said you can keep EIST & maybe C1E on if you want

Aug 19, 2010 · I have been reading through some of Intel's technical documention trying to understand better how these three BIOS features work. It's not easy reading for a layman, but trying to peice it together it seems that if SpeedStep is Enabled, then it becomes redundant to have C1E Support Enabled, and if C-STATE is Enabled it looks like it takes over control of C1E.

Sep 10, 2019 · Also turbo core should be turned off as when you are playing with the others enumerated seems to not kick in if ever was (rarely seen it working on my 4100FX with my 970A-UD3 .i suspect the mobo in culprit . The turbo clock can be considered a safe overclocking shelf. Of course the CnQ and C6 off means more power consumption if you care about this.

Jun 20, 2012 · No its not "Idle mode", it justs scales the frequency according to load using p-states, C1E and C6 work independently along with Core Power Gating at least in my ASUS board, the experience on the desktop on a SB Core i3 with EIST disabled was easily noticed by me, more snappy experience, the CPU doesnt play around with lower frequencies anymore due to EIST, it goes full speed, idles down …
