Why? It is because in my experience with my Exchange 2013 cu17 and whatever Android version is availble nowadays, the "inheritable permissions" doesn't have to be enabled for the users. After configuration, emails can be sent/receive just like that. The only problem I ever encountered is the default Android mail client does not work.

Nov 29, 2012 · I just found out that it's SP2 Rollup 2. The gentleman in IT told me he sees that rollup 5 is available, and he's got Exchange Server set to automatically update, so he's going to install the rollup 5 manually and then see why it didn't update automatically. I don't know if that's the solution, though. I guess I'll find out after he updates!
