Mar 11, 2016 · openmp needs libandroid_support because openmp relies on some parts of libc that we've never had. We added them specifically for openmp, but we can't modify old releases, so they're only supported natively in O. libandroid_support is the thing we use to patch holes in libc, but it's only compatible with libc++.

Feb 15, 2012 · At the moment, we do not plan on officially supporting OpenMP with the Android NDK, which means the official binary distributions won't have this capability. However, experimentation is welcomed.

The OpenMP project can be built with an external build system such as ndk-build and debugged with NT VSE with help of the [b]External Build System[/b] project type.
