Aug 10, 2019 · Anivia support definitely doesn't need tear and catalyst. You're not gonna waveclear with your ult, or should+wall randomly. I usually get 3 or 4 accounts into diamond with 99% of my games being Anivia support. And I prefer an aggresive ADC with me as I tend to play aggresive during lvl 2/3 and 6>. Or otherwise something with CC.

I love anivia, and used to main her, but i stopped using her over time and with the blue buff nerf she basically became unplayable edit:not unplayable, but there are quite a few better picks for mid. I did see someone using her as a support however, and it looked interesting.

Oct 21, 2013 · 1. She's still perfectly viable mid. 2. No. Saying Anivia support is good is like saying Lux support is good. Yes, they're not 100% absolutely terrible like, say, a Mordekaiser support - but they lose so much from going support instead of mid you're basically wasting the champion.

Anivia's strength is her wave clear, and you (if you are truly benign a support) have to completely give that up. Now if you are on of those jerks who just plays nidalee/lux/anivia hoping to carry the game and you are gonna farm after laning, I'm sure she is good for that. The way Anivia's E works with her R and Q, she is designed to deal damage.

Also, Anivia support completely s***s all over Lux. Her wall doesn't give a s*** about shield, and if she shields someone, the other one gets stunned in engage, especially since Morg has to close in, and she can break the shield quickly since she still gets e proc through shield.

Either revert her ult back, fix (possible bug?) of freeze not aplying on 1st hit on her ult.. or increase its expansion rate massively, at the point Anivia is now she is not viable... she was before but now, might as well clip her wings and put in ults place a feather storm that tickles enemy and applies happyness..
