Jul 12, 2014 · The idea of the bearing is to help support a antenna mast. I found that the bearing is not of tight tolerances. The bearing is loose and moves around and has nothing for grease.It also looks like a ball bearing is missing.The company that makes it states that it does not need to be of tight tolerance because of what it is used for.3.1/5

Dec 14, 2011 · The thrust bearing is the cheapest part of your entire install to short yourself on one isn't a good idea. They keep the weight of the mast and antennas off of the rotor, it helps centers the mast in the rotor and stops sideplay. It's just like putting in a cheap mast and then wonder why it bent just above the tower when a strong wind hit.
