May 08, 2014 · Hello everyone Do you feel that Anti Surge Support under Monitor menu in Bios is useful? My computer suddenly lost power when I play 3D games. I think maybe Anti Surge Support is not quiet perfect so I disabled it and find FPS in game increased. The problem doesn't happen again. Do you disable Anti Surge Support?

Sep 25, 2014 · I think you can also disable anti surge in the BIOS, which if i remember correctly PCS advised me to do that in the first place. However, I chose to test the PSU instead. As I'd rather have the surge protection in case the system actually needs this. In the end no hardware was faulty and disconnecting then reconnecting all the cables worked.

Mar 20, 2016 · I've been having the ASUS anti-surge problem, and I know it is not due to a real power surge because I live in a area where lightning and Thunder is very, very rare, and the first time it happened, nothing in my house acted weird, and I did a bit of research, and most people say anti-surge is the problem, and it only detects anti-surge when I play graphic intensive games.

Now in some cases it actually works like its intended so while its buggy it sometimes work and the PSU might be broken, so turn off Asus Anti-surge but if you still have problems then it might be a hardware problem.Author: Baasha

Feb 05, 2016 · All seemed well then I got another reboot only now I get Asus Anti surge warning pre os saying press del to enter Bios. What are the odds of 2 psus both being bad? system specs are: Asus A88XM-E, A10-7870K, 16 GB Gskill ddr3, Msi R7-250, 4 ssds 2 intel 2 Sansung, Liteon Blue ray Drive also have latest bios.

May 23, 2012 · Indeed there's no explanation of exactly which inputs it's measuring, ATX24 or EPS4 or both. There's no mention of it in the manual except how to enable or disable it in the BIOS. As I said, I awake to find that the PC has rebooted and there is a BIOS message on screen saying it was shutdown from anti surge protection.

Apr 29, 2013 · How can I disable Asus anti-surge protection? I read somewhere that you can disable anti-power surge protection on the Asus motherboard somewhere through BIOS but I have no idea how to do it. Can anyone help? Update: Asus themselves advise customers to disable it. Anti-surge protection does not work as intended.
