Mar 09, 2014 · APB doesn't have complete controller set-up and support. If you can get all the actions you want to do bound to a controller then more power to you. The reason you can not make your controller settings "stick" in the game is because APB will overwrite the settings you make once you relaunch the game.

Oct 11, 2013 · Problem there is if you have aiming properly adjusted for running around on foot It will be wildly out of adjustment for driving. The same is true if you adjust the controller to drive properly for turns, your aiming while on foot will be extreemly out of whack. Problem is APB doesn't support variable speeds based on the degree you push a joystick.

Dec 26, 2019 · All changes will be made in the APBInput. ini file which is located D:\*InstallDir*\APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config. Note that you will need to have an Xbox Controller, or emulated Xbox 360 Controller for the game to support your controller. No additional changes will be needed.

if your planning on using the controller you might have to modify the controls. It takes a bit of time but it works out, there is a few things that aren't very controller friendly like pledge and the other small menu management but other then that it works pretty well.

I made this config so vehicles could actually be usable with the Steam Controller, while still having the advantages of gyro aim, rumble, and analog movement. I need to give some credit: I used /u/ExistentialEgg-'s EGGcelent Gamepad profile as a base. Holding the action button will change Action Sets from Gamepad to KB+M.
