    Dec 08, 2009 · I just had my battery replaced by Apple under applecare about a month ago. And for the past week in the battery status there is an X through the battery symbol and says that there are no batteries available. They put a new battery in when they replaced it, and I also got a brand new charger.

    Jan 15, 2007 · Another MacBook with a problem battery. I took my MacBook on a trip with me and the battery was low when I left. I never had a chance to use it over the two days I was away so I didn't plug it in at all to charge. Now when I plug in my MacBook I get the "No Batteries Available" message in the energy drop-down in the menu bar.
