a few days ago the stable version of PHP 5.4 was released. If would be great if Aptana would support the new features like the new short array syntax or traits. Currently Aptana says the code is invalid at this point. Thanks and greetings Leo

Aug 16, 2016 · HUGE ERROR not updating PHP version support! How can you not be aware of the major differences between 5.4 and 5.6, 7.0 & 7.1?? Those differences are as big as to make some functions coded for 5.4 FAIL when they are uploaded to 7.0 Server! Many hosting companies are discontinuing 5.4!

I have been a long time user of Aptana (since version 1), and long time ago I tried the "Aptana 3 PHP Plugin". Rubbish indeed, when compared to version 1.5.
