May 16, 2006 · The kernel ntfs write support is not really useful yet. It cannot create files or delete them. To get working write support (like Knoppix has), do the following: Install the "ntfsprogs" package, then mount your partition either by specifying the filesystem type "ntfs-fuse" or by using the "ntfsmount" utility.
