Feb 01, 2017 · It is an interesting topic if not annoying,. Been task to see if there is an end date to support ASP Classic from time to time and come to some interesting pages on the Internet. Guess since this technology was stop being developed before Microsoft used any Life Cycle Management process, it seems it is just being ignored.

Asp.DLL is part of VISTA so the runtime will continue to be supported based on the Vista support lifecycle. All classic ASP development tools (i.e., Visual Interdev) are now in their extended support period and we will not be updating tools for classic ASP. Feb 21, 2017 · If MVC 5 were tied to Visual Studio 2015, mainstream support would end in 2020 and extend support in 2025. Does anyone know where I can find more definitive information about MVC 5 support end dates specifically? I know ASP.NET Core MVC works with the full .NET framework, and I've put a lot of effort into learning .NET Core.
