Dec 06, 2011 · You don't install it in Asterisk, if Asterisk is to make use of it, the underlying networking stack has to support it and you have to have IPv6 connectivity. As far as Asterisk is concerned, it only supports IPv6 for SIP, beginning with Asterisk 1.8.

Asterisk 13.7.0 built by mockbuild @ jenkins2.schmoozecom.net on a x86_64 running Linux on 2016-01-15 23:27:59 UTC. So I’m trying to get IPv6 connectivity working. I’m using Yealink SIP-T22P Handsets and X-Lite client on my windows/mac. None will connect over IPv6. I’m having trouble with exactly what needs to be done to get this running.
