Feb 21, 2006 · It is an athlon 2800+, and yes, it is a barton. You are running the chip at 133fsb, and it should be at 166fsb, which will give you 2.083ghz. Edit - oops you already knew that - your chiset is kt333, I don't know for sure if the original kt333 supported 333fsb, or just 333ddr.

Jan 07, 2010 · Asus p5w DH Deluxe with Core 2 Duo E6700... so its slowly about time to do some upgrade. While my mobo has support for Q9400 i got interested. The thing is: mobo support up to 1066Mhz FSB and CPU 1333Mhz... As far as im concerned FSB is connected with end CPU speed which is for 9400 2.66Ghz. Will it be lower with lower FSB?

Apr 14, 2008 · DDR/DDR2/DDR3 clock speed is double the FSB. So DDR2-667 is the speed you need to run an FSB of 333 with a 1:1 ratio (DDR2-800 for FSB 400, DDR2-1000 for FSB 500, etc). DDR3 is extremely fast (DDR3-1600 for example can handle FSB 800) but there are no motherboards or CPUs out that require these kind of speeds even for overclocking.
