Nov 02, 2012 · Sure sooner or later ASUS will update its support CD for Windows 8 but right now its support CD (ASUS P9X79 Deluxe) sends this message as, "ASUS support CD does not support this operating system (WNT_62P_64).". But W8 runs smoothly on the rig, automatically configured itself by moving the hard drive from the older machine to the new one.

It is not delet any folder. When you unzip the folder and install the chip Windows creates a folder in C / Windows with the same folder name Chip. Then each time you start Windows, get the message DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS OPERATING SYSTEM: WNT_6.2P_64. Deleting the folder with the same name of the Chip. Solves the problem.
