Jan 16, 2016 · Since then I purchased an AMD HD5450 in order to support dual monitors. In order to fit the card into my mini tower slot I removed the VGA. Currently the HDMI is plugged in to the card and the VGA is plugged in to an adapter to the DVI port also on the card. I have had no luck is getting the second monitor to work.

Jul 23, 2011 · The HD 5450 video card that I have is a stand alone card; it is not on the motherboard. Next, it only has 1 port - a DVI port (no VGA port and I don't want to use any VGA in this setup.) I see it does have an HDMI port also. The ATI drivers were installed so a single DVI monitor works with it, but the ATI Catalyst software was NOT installed.

But on 29-Sep-2017, my system got upgraded to version 1703 of Windows 10. After than time, the system does not automatically recognise two monitors.
