Mar 06, 2008 · Ati2mtag is related to the ATI Catalyst drivers. You might be having a driver issue. Have you updated your drivers lately? Catalyst 6.10 is notorious for this particular problem.

Jan 07, 2010 · If set to AHCI, the computer boots from the Windows 7 disc OK, but does not boot from the hard disk, which also has a SATA interface. It hanhs on the circling windows icon display, the resets. I cannot do a system restore, since Windows 7 was installed on a computer that had XP running on it.

Dec 13, 2006 · Tried a full reinstall twice and i still have it, also done the unsual and used driver cleaner etc but still does not fixed it! All i can do is play a game for 5 - 10 mins then it either crashes to desktop or restarts the pc! It's not due to the cpu overclock either as i have tried it clocked and not clocked.

Apr 25, 2016 · I think my biggest concern is not being able to see a menu in Device Manager for DVD/CD-ROM drives. I'm not sure how it got removed or how to get it back. I'm going to try and contact ASUS to see if they have specific drivers for this drive meant for Windows 10.
