Northside Hospital offers free monthly support groups for stroke survivors and their families. The groups promote knowledge, psychological well-being and successful adjustment. Groups are facilitated by a registered nurse and a licensed clinical social worker. Registration is not required. Discussions include:

Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke Support Group. This group, one of four available at North Fulton Hospital meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. in Suite 100. Stroke Support Group. This group for stroke survivors meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. in Suite 100. Stroke survivors have various degrees of TBI.
