Following Tutorial in manual, I Record sound in Audacity; I see both left and right channels showing amplitude changes. Stop recording.

Nov 19, 2009 · I get the message the version of audacity was not compiled with MP3 files support. I installed Audacity like this: # yum install audacity I also installed ffmpeg and LAME. In Audacity under Preferences/libraries I see LAME being installed and I'm able to locate it but FFmpeg is greyed out and it says FFMPEG Support not compiled in
