Dec 04, 2012 · In fact, Big Picture FAQ says that it only supports 3 different pads - 2 vers. of xbox360 controller and 1 from logitech. So, I can setup my (different from these) controller normally in BP, but Audiosurf cant recognize it. It needs some attention from Valve to force developers to integrate different controllers support in their games.

Jun 16, 2009 · You might also need some drivers from MS, although where they've hidden them I don't know, otherwise it will just be seen as a standard DirectInput controller, which Audiosurf doesn't support (which is why the Saitek P990 doesn't work).

Gamepad support is important for a game like this. I would go out on a limb and say the reason Frets on Fire didn't meet expectations (everybody knows what Guitar Hero is, but nobody knows about FoF) is because it didn't support input methods other than keyboard. Custom songs are also important to have.
