Going through the same process now. Win 7 OS, 32 bit, Intel i5 CPU 650 @ 3.2 GHz., 6GB ram. Here are few things that I ran across. 1)Win 7 is not on the compatibility sheet for Autocad 2008, therefore don't expect any support, specially after 2012 comes out, when 2008 retires.
