When I enter a folder in "Support File Search Path" it does not search in subfolders. For example I entered our library folder "Libs" which contains dozens of sub and subsubfolders, but when I search for a part in a sub folder I get the message "File not found" followed by the list of support file search paths including the "Libs" path.

Jul 04, 2006 · We have our blocks placed into different folders. If i want to add tha paths to the "Support file path search", I have to fill in all the folders. (maybe 20 lines) Isn't there a way to give 1 folder and autocad takes all the subfolder as well. Would save a lot of work for us.

Sep 30, 2010 · In the Files tab, expand Support File Search Path. Here is where you direct AutoCAD to find customization files, text fonts, line type styles, and hatch patterns. Note that the order that the paths listed under here is important since AutoCAD will try to find files going down through the folders.

Jan 18, 2019 · I am looking at a way to automatically add folders to the support file search path. I used to use AcadInstall.exe but it is no longer supported for later versions of AutoCAD. Does anyone know where the Support File Search Path is located in the windows registry. I thouhgt I could write a program to add to the registry key.
