LLDP Avaya 9600 Series Phones I have tried it both ways, the manual method and applying the policy to the ports and also via "auto voice vlan" method. Neither worked, once the phone fully comes up if you try to see the phone via LLDP, e.g. sh lldp neighbors it shows noithing for the phone even though I see in the capture it sending LLDP frames.

Feb 26, 2017 · LLDP is the standard which can be used in your case since Avaya does not support CDP. However, the old ios versions for Cisco 3560g did not support LLDP I believe, but you can check by running the lldp run command in config mode. The newer 3560X switches support LLDP.
