Apr 30, 2013 · [Addendum] I toggled the AMD C1E Support in BIOS, no difference and learned that's not the same thing as Intel processor C-States anyway. But interestingly, after Hyper-v feature is installed, when I disable Virtualization in the BIOS, the computer will sleep and wake fine.

Aug 19, 2010 · I have been reading through some of Intel's technical documention trying to understand better how these three BIOS features work. It's not easy reading for a layman, but trying to peice it together it seems that if SpeedStep is Enabled, then it becomes redundant to have C1E Support Enabled, and if C-STATE is Enabled it looks like it takes over control of C1E.
