Sep 02, 2009 · I've got an Intel Bad Axe 2 D975XBX2 with an E6600 overclocked to 3.0Ghz (333MHz x 9 multiplier) and 2GB of DDR2-1000 RAM. The motherboard has the latest BIOS (version 2838).I've recently gotten a GTX 275 that I run at 1680x1050, so I'm probably a bit CPU limited, but upgrading the CPU seems non-trivial.

Sep 07, 2007 · I bought an Intel Bad Axe 2 and C2D e6600 never really intending to overclock much, but now that I've got everything up and running I'd like to see what the chip can do. The only problem is that a lot of the steps suggested in the e6600 overclock guides seem to be missing in my Bad Axe 2 bios ... things like Intel Speed Step and the like.
