Jun 15, 2011 · Hi I had the Baha implant done 3 yrs. ago,I was the first patient of my ENT to have it done without being put to sleep they froze the area and I stayed absolutely still while they did the drilling and the surgery went well my ENT was amazed that I could lie so still and not move but she had a drill in her hand and i wasn't going to have it go any where than where it was supposed to.

The wind and cold are two factors the BAHA does not like so I remove the processor, also it usually is not worn with my helmet. If you are active in any way, I would recommend wearing the tether clip when you can, I even clip mine to a necklace when at the beach. I love my BAHA! Jul 23, 2009 · / Meniere's Disease Support Group. Does anyone have a BAHA implant? deleted_user 07/23/2009. I have lost all the hearing in my right ear due to my meniere's. It is a major problem since I teach music and have 2 young children at home. My doctor recommended the BAHA implant and I want to know what other people have to say about it.
