Pandamobile 3282d ago (Edited 3282d ago ). They've designed the engine to run better on 64 bit than 32 bit. DICE aren't cutting any corners with Frostbite 2. When it's designed for a 64 bit DX11 environment, it's going to pack a lot of punch and have some incredibly beautiful graphics.

It's more surprising to me that this has to be an announcement. I guess I have underestimated the long legs XP has had. To me this is the equivalent to some company in 2004 (the middle of the XP cycle) announcing their new game won't support Windows 95 (its about the same amount of time between vista and XP).
