Nov 04, 2013 · Make sure the Xbox 360 controller is plugged in and connected to the PC before starting Battlefield 4 (or any Frostbite game for that matter). It seems to disable controller support if you launch the game without a controller plugged in.

Apr 10, 2015 · 3. When u find the device besides your controller that is acting as another joystick you need to click into it and go properties, then click uninstall. 4. Once done re-plug your xbox controller into your PC even if it's the wireless receiver and your good to go. Load up BF4 again and remember to startup the controller before you start the game.
