Senior’s Supplement rates are based upon income declared to the federal Canada Revenue Agency or declared on the federal Guaranteed Income Supplement application if a senior is required to complete one. The maximum rate is $49.30 per single senior and $120.50 for senior couples.

Is there a cost for home support services? If you receive publicly subsidized home support services, you will pay a daily rate based on your income (and the income of your spouse, if applicable). Your daily rate is calculated by multiplying your “remaining annual income” (as defined in the Continuing Care Fees Regulation) by 0.00138889.
