Mar 05, 2014 · I recently upgraded from Windows 8 to windows 8.1 and lost all functionality for my Kodak printer. I have regained some use but I need to enable bidirectional support. When I find this option in the printer properties it is greyed out and I am unable to select it. This option is greyed out for all the printers I have listed.

Nov 29, 2010 · I have the same problem with a 6150. Kodak techie from India spent three hours on my laptop and could not make it print using the wireless mode. Now I am getting the same flag saying bidirectional support disabled. How do you enable it? This is not a Windows 7 problem. This is a Kodak problem. Microsoft does not provide support for Kodak hardware.

On the ports tab for the printer, the "Enable bidirectional support" option is grayed out. Can someone please explain why it is grayed out and what the remedy is? I have successfuly scanned from the Notebook using the Kodak AiO Home Centre application in the past, but can't say how long ago that was.
