Sep 23, 2008 · Update: not such a great fix. Probably got 5 trips and the inside copper tube repair just snapped as I grabbed the bimini when I was trying to move the boat towards the trailer this past Sunday. Tip: never try to guide the boat by grabbing your bimini. And don't let anyone grab the frame for support as they board on and off either.

Jul 10, 2011 · Re: Bimini support poles As you found, they don't make hinged jaw slides. For your application and the specific issue you are having, they might work fine. The only way to know is to put it together and see what happens. The 3" may not be too much to cause issues. It might be fine when the bimini is deployed and bind when it is put away.
