Mar 23, 2008 · Did you buy a newer cpu than your old one? That's the only reason I can think of for re-flashing the bios. It's a pentium so it probably blew because you over-clocked it... what else is broken ?

Dec 01, 2018 · I tried all the ways. Flashing from windows (AMI Tool) does not work, and does not work with DOS. The motherboard is from Acer but produced by Packard Bell I tried BIOS from Acer and Pacard Bell but no result. It is interesting that the same version of the BIOS that currently exists on the motherboard is loaded (flashed) without any problem.

Sep 01, 2014 · If your system runs ok with Acer OEM software, it most likely does not have a hardware problem. For systems that shipped with a BIOS, there is no way to upgrade it to UEFI by using any downloads we offer on our site. Some systems that shipped with Windows 7, were upgradeable to Windows 8, but did not offer support for upgrading from BIOS to UEFI.

Mar 23, 2011 · Now that you have it flashed back, the flashing tools will recognize it properly, so just download an official BIOS for your board, and reflash. If that doesn't fix it, try redownloading the official lan drivers for your board. It sounds like some sort of corruption issue. whether it's windows or the BIOS, is yet to be seen.Cooling: OCZ Vendetta 2

Sep 18, 2015 · Never had a problem before downgrading bios. Used AFUDOS229ES and it always downgraded. Today I updated my RIIE to 2101, big mistake. Need more vcore and qpi to stay stable at 4300MHz so I would like to revert back to 1802. Bios 2 has 1504 on it and I would like to keep it that way. So how to downgrade bios one??? AFUDOS wont work even with /pbnc /n switches.
