Oct 03, 2013 · Just go to the Controls menu and change the option for using 360 controller to ON. You can actually play the game with a 360 controller whether you change it to On or Off, it's just that if you leave it off, all button commands in the game will be shown as keyboard controls.

Feb 11, 2010 · The other thing to keep in mind here is that if you actually did use the 360 controller while playing the original Bioshock, then you'll know that the 360 controller support for that game was probably the best implementation of such that has ever been done - force feedback in particular was superb, but they also mapped the buttons perfectly.

Try updating the Xbox 360 Accessories program or reinstalling. The controller compatibility is really quite good if it's working. With most PC games you have to make absolutely certain that the controller is started before starting the game or it defaults to PC control. Or you have to go into Options every time to pick gamepad mode before playing.
