Jul 11, 2015 · There is 360 controller support. This was one of the first games I remember seeing have it. Just plug it in and all of te keyboard prompts should be 360 prompts when you run Bioshock.

Oct 03, 2013 · I played the first game on the PC to completion with the controller so the sequel not supporting it seemed a bizarre decision. In fact, the lack of controller support is what made me buy the 360 version and I then played the game to completion as I just didn't like the mouse/keyboard controls.

Feb 11, 2010 · The other thing to keep in mind here is that if you actually did use the 360 controller while playing the original Bioshock, then you'll know that the 360 controller support for that game was probably the best implementation of such that has ever been done - force feedback in particular was superb, but they also mapped the buttons perfectly.

Try updating the Xbox 360 Accessories program or reinstalling. The controller compatibility is really quite good if it's working. With most PC games you have to make absolutely certain that the controller is started before starting the game or it defaults to PC control. Or you have to go into Options every time to pick gamepad mode before playing.

That's not the rule. The rule is that if a GFW game supports gamepads it must support the 360 controller. It's nothing to do with having a console counterpart. At least that's what I read. "This is definitely the case as other GFW games such as Fear 2 also have console versions but no gamepad support in the PC version.
