In short, Bioware is no longer an independant company (it's original founders aren't even with them anymore), and EA could literally disband and shut down Bioware tomorrow if they saw fit (which is something they've done a number of times in the past with other studios), while keep the rights to everything Bioware ever made.

Jul 15, 2011 · Hello, I've not played Neverwinter for a while now and wanted to get back into it, the problem being that I can't update to the 1.69 Patch. The nwn updater doesn't work and is giving me a link for the Critical rebuild which doesn't work anymore because Bioware seem to have got rid of all Neverwinter Nights based webpages!

NWN + SoU + HotU: If 'Shadows of Undrentide' and 'Hordes of the Underdark' is installed (this is the edition you got from GOG) There is also a NEW v1.71 COMMUNITY patch that's just become available, but I have no experience with this one, so I won't recommend it (yet). Next Best advice to get started: READ THE BOOK OF INSTRUCTIONS!

Dec 10, 2004 · (English) well im not sure how badly you mess up your game already but the problem doesn't seem to be your computer but probably the autoupdate file is not available so just download the righ patch or unistall the whole game and save the saved games and reinstall NWN then hordes then install hordes patch and ya done
