Jan 31, 2008 · I’m still confused if the BlazeDS AMFEndpoint (non-streaming endpoint) uses the underlying NIO support from the application server (I’ve seen a couple of claims AMFEndpoint does support the underlying NIO). To me this confusion arises as LCDS has an AMFNIOEndpoint, which makes me believe AMFEndpoint is synchronous.

Nov 15, 2010 · So I figured that Java NIO would help with this issue by providing a much higher connection limit, and maybe we'll get lucky and the buildup of stale connections won't even occur. And then, of course, we can support more streaming connections too.
