Mar 30, 2013 · After getting a brand new media center PC with a nice integrated blu-ray drive, I am dismayed at the lack of support media center or other third party software has for blu-ray on a PC. Power DVD that comes with the blu-ray drive is shockingly awful and unfit for purpose. Placing a disc into the drive exits media center and loads Power DVD.

Jan 24, 2010 · I would like to know in the Windows Media Center, which is included in Windows 7 (if You have a Bly Ray Player on Your computer), can You play Blu Rays in WMC? I don't have a Bly Ray Player to try, because when I enter WMC I can only see "Movie Library" and next to it "Play DVD".

May 19, 2009 · As it turns out PowerDVD integrates totally with Media Center in Windows 7 and whenever I play a blu-ray disc from within Media Center the PowerDVD playback software is loaded in the background. Visually it appears as though I remain in the Media Center interface and the fact that I can continue to use the MCE remote control to control the blu-ray movie is really nice.
