Aug 19, 2012 · Does Windows XP 64 support the play of Blu Ray discs? Any DVD player software I use works for regular DVDs in my Blu Ray drive; but Blu Ray discs don't seem to function. However on Windows 7 64 they work fine.

May 10, 2009 · Anybody know if its yet possible to get Blu-Ray disks to read in Windows XP? I read somewhere that you need a UDF 2.5 driver or some such but have had trouble finding one. I also read that even installing PowerDVD or something similar will only allow playback in that particular program but wont give Windows on the whole proper blu-ray support.
