Hi, I have a class that extends BodyTagSupport, the default return type of doStartTag() is EVAL_BODY_BUFFERED. If I invoke the tag with empty body, the container returns SKIP_BODY(because of it, the container executes doEndTag()).

If you want access to the response output (in the doAfterTag() method in a tag that extends BodyTagSupport and where the doStartTag() method returns EVAL_BODY_BUFFERED) you'll need to do something like bodyContent.getEnclosingWriter().write(bodyText); – CodeClimber Mar 21 '11 at 17:17
