Jan 08, 2008 · If you are booting up with MS-DOS, it (by itself) can not read - or see - NTFS. If you are using a boot CD - such as MadBoot, that has the ability to see, and read, NTFS. There are other boot CD's that also can read NTFS, but you may need to select an option, while booting, to pick up that ability.
