Nov 15, 2010 · Question: Q: Bootcamp x64 is not supported I just bought a brand new copy of Windows 7 64-bit. I installed it fine, but when I insert the OS X CD for drivers, I get a message that says "Bootcamp x64 is not supported" I went into the Disc and tried to run "Bootcamp64", but it tells me I need to run it through "setup.exe".

Feb 01, 2010 · The Boot Camp drivers also had to be downloaded and were placed on a USB stick, version 5.0.5033. Then when I went to Boot Camp > Drivers > Apple BootCamp.msi was on the list but not BootCamp64.msi. So I proceeded going through each installer, one after the other (a bit of a pain), and most of them loaded without complaining.

Aug 17, 2013 · The newest Macbook Air ,I want to install a Windows7 x86 version, for although x64 can use all the 4 GB RAM, but I don't think it is necessary , 3.2 GB is enough for daily use, if we want to use more ,the 1.3 GHz CPU will not allowed....And the x64 does badly in compatibility,that is the most serious reason for me to choose a x86 version.

Aug 17, 2012 · I decided to use a fresh copy of Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit. The install went fine and as Apple suggested, I copied over the windows support files. Awesome. I opened the folder and selected the setup file, and was immediately given the message: “Boot Camp x64 is unsupported on this computer model” This had to be a mistake.
